Meadow Lake Provincial Park is a string of sparkling lakes set in a 100km stretch of northern boreal forest recreational park on the Waterhen River. It is Saskatchewan's largest and most popular park. The park is accessed centrally through the village of Goodsoil, located approximately 78km west of Meadow Lake. 5 kilometres north of Dorintosh the entrance to the park is located. The western gateway into the Meadow Lake Provincial Park is via the village of Pierceland. The entire park encompasses over 20 lakes in an area of 1,600 square kilometers.
